Many of us here are avid watchers of TED talks (Technology-Entertainment-Design) and our recent favorite is by our client, Blaise Aguera Y Arcas – software architect and creative thinker extraordinaire.
Blaise is co-creator of Photosynth and also created Seadragon, the engine behind Photosynth. Simply put from TED’s website: ”Photosynth is software that assembles static photos into a synergy of zoomable, navigatable spaces .”
So – it is a visual quilt that is stitched together by our collective memories – our photographs. Really. cool. stuff.

Vian Hunter: A new reason to go to Madison Valley

Like many women, I think that we can never have enough elegant clothing stores. So you can imagine my excitement when I heard we would be helping Lisa Hunter get her store, Vian Hunter: House of Fashion, open in Madison Valley by doing some painting and varioushandyman work.
The clothing in Vian Hunter is designed by Lisa Hunter and made locally. These fashions are inspired by the 50s, 60s and 70s and are gracefully designed with modern cuts and chic European fabrics – these are pieces you will hold on to for years!
They had a Grand Opening Party on Friday, November 20th and donated 10% of sales to New Beginnings (An organization that helps battered women and their children). What better an evening than mingling with fashion for a good cause?
Vian Hunter has a great website where you can view some of the collections available: www.vianhunter.com. My favorite sections are “Day Dresses” and “Little Black Dresses” so be sure to go to those pages. Of course the best way to see this line is to go visit Vian Hunter in person.

Gaspar’s client wins AWC Headliner Award

Lorraine Howell is a past client of ours and we congratulate her on winning the 2009 AWC (Association for Women in Communications) Headliner Award! This award, established in 1939, recognizes members for excellence in communications. Lorraine is a wonderful recipient to be recognized, and we couldn’t be more proud.
Not only is she the author of Give Your Elevator Speech a Lift!, she also coaches top executives and professionals to speak more effectively to the media. Her specialization is in message development, presentations skills and crisis communications. She started Media Skills Training in 1998 and her website is www.mediaskillstraining.com.
